Who is eligible for new build homebuy?

This scheme is available to:

• First time buyers
• Housing association tenants
• Owner occupiers relocating to an area with higher house prices
• People who want to move into home ownership, but can’t afford
  to buy a property outright on the open market
• Owner occupiers leaving their home following a relationship
  breakdown
• Key workers ie: nurses, teachers and police officers

Priority will normally be given to existing local authority or housing association tenants, people on a local authority housing waiting list or key workers such as qualified teachers, nurses or police officers.
