Do I qualify for new build homebuy schemes?

• You must meet our affordability criteria

• It is suggested that applicant/s should have some savings to put towards a deposit, purchase expenses and moving costs

• You must be permanently employed and have been in your current employment for at least six months

• You will need to be registered with the homebuy agent. In East Anglia the homebuy agent is Orbit First Step and they can be contacted on: 0345 850 2050 or via email:

• In some instances, we can only sell our properties to specific client groups, for example key workers or local residents. Where a development is assigned to key workers, we will only offer these properties to that particular group

• You will need to have a good credit history with no record of County Court Judgements or loan defaults registered against you in the last 12 months. You must be willing to attend a financial assessment to confirm your current income and expenditure

• You must not be in receipt of housing benefit at the time of applying
